A short history of Sign Supplies

With the Head Office in Mt Wellington, Auckland, Sign Supplies Ltd is a leading wholesale trade supplier to the Signage, Digital Print and Display markets nationwide.

The company has served the trade since 1982, when it grew organically from within a commercial brushware company, providing the industry with a specialist range of Signwriting brushes. Due to the rapid growth of the signage division, a new company was officially registered in 1985 as an independent entity, Signwriters Supplies Ltd. The company goal from its inception was to exceed the expectations of every customer by offering outstanding customer service and quality products at a competitive price. These core values still remain today.

From specialist paint brushes to a range of signwriting paint to adhesive vinyl and now to adhesive films for Large Format Printing. Sign Supplies has kept up with the constantly changes demands of the industry. The company also markets a range of Display Equipment.

Keeping in line with the technological advancements within the industry, the company changed its name in 2007 to Sign Supplies Ltd. This was brought about by the rapid decline of hand painted signage or “Signwriting".
